Christian discipleship is a continual process of dying to self in order for the Holy Spirit to work within us and through us. By the power and presence of the Holy Spirit we are transformed into disciples Christ calls to make a difference in our world. It is the intention of the Discipleship Walk to lead each
person into a closer relationship with Christ where you continue
to mature in your faith, enabling you to make a difference for
Christ in your own world. The Discipleship Walk weekend is a three day short course on what is required as a disciple of Christ. It helps remind us that God has called us into His family and to focus on how to fulfill the call upon our lives. We explore God's love for us and how we can share that love with others. Raleigh Assembly of God's first two weekends were held in the
Fall of 1997. Discipleship Walk is primarily a lay Ministry
with pastoral involvement. God blessed in a mighty way. Every
person who attended testified of God's presence and a positive
affect on their walk with Him. The Discipleship Walks are held at the Rose of Sharon Campground in Munford, TN. This is a very casual setting. You will have opportunities to listen to other Christians' testimonies, fellowship, prayer, and lots of food and fun!
